The Perfect Christmas Biscuit

I’ve been eying these biscuits up since I saw the pew-order go up on the FloraRosa website. Every year I attempt baking my own, packing them up, and delivering them to friends with the caveat “they taste better than they look.” At this point, I barely even need to say it. My friends know the ritual. Enter these biscuits. Insanely beautiful and detailed, these delicate works of art taste light, fresh, and beyond delicious. I was pleasantly surprised at how carefully they were packed. Not a crumb out of place! While the idea of sharing them filled me with grinch like dread, I delivered a box to my friend- complete with me and a bottle of bubbly (I wasn’t going to miss out on eating these) and while it would’ve taken an Oscar-worthy performance to convince her I’d made them, she was happy for the professional biscuit reprieve. No more disclaimer. Just 6 of the most beautiful biscuits you ever did see. I expected that with all the decoration they would be tasty but overly sweet - well colour me, Rudolph, because boy is my nose red, well my face. The biscuits are light and delicate. I had two with a cuppa and would’ve gladly abandoned my waistline for a third, but alas, by the time I reached out for number three… they were gone. I will absolutely be ordering another box - hands down my new favorite provider of baked biscuit-y goodness. But hard luck Santa - there won’t be any left for you.
