Afternoon tea for all the family

We ordered afternoon tea from Piglets Pantry as a family treat as they deliver both adults and kids boxes. The adults afternoon tea is great value for money at £35 for two and seriously tasty! It's not your average afternoon tea as your usual sandwiches have been switched for sausage rolls, scotch eggs and savoury tarts which we loved. My husband especially is never fussed over the sandwiches in an afternoon tea so he was particularly happy with the change. The afternoon tea comes with 4 huge slices of cake and scones which were incredible! We enjoyed these for several days after as well as we were so full already from everything else. My favourite part of the afternoon tea was the kids version though! It is incredibly cute and so much thought has gone into it. My daughter was so excited for lunch, which never happens. Included in the kids box are sausage rolls, a box of raisins, a scone with cream and jam, a beautifully decorated cupcake, Malteser buttons and a couple of biscuits to decorate with icing, sprinkles, marshmallows and chocolate buttons. She was in heaven at all of this!! The kids afternoon tea costs just £12 which is an absolute bargain. For kids my daughters age (3) it would easily do two of them as well. I can't recommend Piglets Pantry highly enough. We all really enjoyed the afternoon tea and it was the perfect treat for all the family. They offer different themes for their afternoon teas throughout the year, including some amazing looking ones for Father's Day.
