Do you like tamale? Then join us for a fun, hands-on tamale-making workshop at Hunt & Gather and help us create some beautiful content. During Cinco de Mayo, Mexican families and friends of all ages gather in the kitchen to help spread masa (dough) on corn husks and assemble tamales. It’s like a party in the kitchen with a goal. We invite you to bring this Mexican tradition of making tamales during the holiday season. You’ll learn the step by step process, from the basics of working with fresh masa to creating fillings and sauces both vegetarian and meat options along with techniques for assembling, and steaming them. And while the tamales steam, we’ll sip on Latin inspired cocktails and beer. Once they are ready we will feast together and enjoy the fruits of our labor. This Mexican tradition can become one for your family after taking our hands-on class. This Saturday, May, 4. Don’t miss this chance! * Restriction: Ages 11 and Older
Sorry, we're sold out at the moment.
