If you’re as nuts about Thai food, then you better try Rosa's Thai Cafe! Just off Upper Street in Islington, North London Thai restaurant serves up Rosa’s colourful stir-fries, curries, salads and small plates in a relaxed space. They are close to Angel tube and a great spot to eat before catching a film in the Screen on the Green cinema or a play at the Almeida theatre. The shops and pubs around Islington Green are just around the corner. Their first restaurant opened in 2008 on the site of an East End caff called Rosa’s. Out of respect for the previous owner, they chose to keep the name. Over the years, their Thai co-founder Chef Saiphin has also become known as ‘Rosa’ – and so the name keeps being associated with good, honest food. As ‘Rosa’, Chef Saiphin challenges herself to cook authentic Thai dishes with local produce & a few key (secret) ingredients from Thailand. Every dish on the menu carries fond personal memories and many are based on old family recipes.
Sorry, we're sold out at the moment.
