Aptos

During our last trip by Highway 1, we’ve discovered Aptos. I was surprised by the contrast of this town situated just 15 minutes drive from Capitol. If Capitola is charming and touristy, Aptos seems nostalgic and forgotten. In the end of the wharf you can see this old abandoned ship, which was once an amusement park with coffee shops and even a pool. Aptos has a unique feel to it, I’d recommend coming for a walk or watch the sunset here. Aptos is also one of those uniques places where you can stay in the house right on the beach.
