The snow season in Tahoe is here. Everyone young and old are getting their gear ready to hit cabins and hot-tubs in wonderful Tahoe. Both skiing and snowboarding are expensive and if you’re just starting up you might break the bank for just lift tickets. A day ticket in Squaw Valley or Heavenly resort will cost around $150 a day. If you know you want to learn and will be here at least 3 days, I recommend getting a season pass. Sierra at Tahoe is not your fancy resort but it’s great one for learning. For just $490 you can get an unlimited season pass and for another $159 you’ll get a season rental pass. That’s right no need to rent the gear - just go and use what you want.
