Thanks to Hype I got to taste and watch a professional chef Vincent Guiheneuf making macarons from scratch! Such a nice guy and he makes delicious and quality tasting pastries.
The French Baking workshop went really well, it was such a neat, intimate and educational experience! The chef was more than friendly and informative. There were also other families there together so it was a fun way to spend the time. The macrons were soo good and it was fun to see how simple it is to make something so delicious at home. So it’s really cool that he had the recipe and online videos when we need to reference back.
As for the flavor list, it`s super exciting and worth trying! Here is the short info about available options: Rose Gold (made with a white chocolate ganache with homemade raspberry puree and a hint of rose water), Strawberry Champagne
(indulge in rich white chocolate infused with fresh strawberries and smooth notes of champagne), Chocolate Grand Cru (made with superior quality chocolate “grand cru”, has a cake-like texture and exceptionally well-balanced vibrant chocolate flavor), Salted Caramel (sweet, salty and buttery – you’ve never had salted caramel like this)It is made with fleur de sel from Brittany, France. Not to be missed for a taste of Chef Vincent’s hometown and the birthplace of Salted Caramel!
For some innovative flavors don`t miss Chai Latte macarons containing spices of chai latte paired beautifully with the delicate milk chocolate. A very refreshing Moscow Mule will surprise you with notes of spicy ginger, white chocolate ganache, lime zest and a hint of fresh mint. And finally, the Hazelnut Sesame
macarons made with a milk chocolate ganache and hazelnut paste with toasted sesame seeds. Not to be missed by chocolate peanut butter lovers!
My first hype experience and hope to do more! Thanks! ⭐️👨🏻🍳🥚🥮
