TEA IN WONDERLAND - A TRULY UNIQUE EXPERIENCE!

Tea Lovers Alarm! I've just got a chance to join a truly unique experience held by the Fabula Tea - Tea in Wonderland!!! I found myself outside what seemed like a residential house near the posh St Francis Wood neighborhood of SF on a Thursday evening, with 20 or 30 other people. The venue that this takes place in is the Gregangelo Museum, which is a house with many themed rooms full of art.

No one really know what they had gotten themselves into, except that we were all attending some sort of tea ceremony in a museum, along with a tour of the museum. What I unexpectedly found was one of the most uniquely San Francisco experiences I've ever had and one of the best ways to spend an evening out I've ever seen. I'm not going to describe the experience in too much detail, as no words or pictures can really do justice to the wonderment I experienced here. The event is a collaboration between Fabula Tea and the Gregangelo Museum. There was tea - several different kinds - prepared by Kenny and Yshel of Fabula, who are true experts at tea. There were also fantastic sweet and savory snacks, as well as incredible performances. Though we were asked to leave our phones, cameras, and other electronics in the first room, you can take pictures right after the experience if you'd like. These events seem to happen only once every few months, and if you get a chance to go to one, definitely jump on that. Go into it with an open mind and no expectations, and you won't be disappointed.
