First impressions when I received by box of goodies already ticked boxes for me, and it started with the fact that everything was sent out in recyclable packaging and tape that was not only recyclable but was made from recycled materials. I requested 4 products in my box; cleansing face balm, face serum, face mask and peppermint body scrub. Starting with the cleansing face balm - it claimed to remove makeup so I put on a full face of makeup including waterproof mascara. The face balm comes in a glass jar and firstly smells amazing. The texture has a slight grain to it but not enough to feel it when rubbed onto the face. I only needed a grape size amount of product and this was more than enough. It easily melted away all my makeup and no scrubbing was needed to remove with a flannel. Next up was the face serum. I have regularly used a different brand serum but Upcircle's serum has completely won me over. Again, only a little is needed and it easily spreads across the whole face. Some of the ingredients is repurposed coffee grounds so it's not surprising that it has a gorgeous coffee scent to it. The face mask I was sent came in a small sachet (1.5ml which is approx. 1/4 tsp) and I was convinced it wouldn't be enough. I applied it with a brush and was able to apply to my whole face. It was a nice, light face mask with no tightness when dry unlike many other masks. It went on white and dried clear with a powder like texture. Lastly the peppermint body scrub. It is a very dark coloured scrub and this will be due to it being made from coffee grounds. The scrub has a very good texture and exfoliates very well whilst leaving immediate softness on the skin from the shea butter. Like all the other products, it smells amazing and a little goes a very long way so can see the tube lasting a long time. In a generation where we're becoming more conscious about waste, recyclable packing and caring for animals, this company is everything that I stand for and more with the added bonus that everything is made in the UK. The products are a luxury and are very reasonable priced. Upcircle offer discounts on subscriptions or bundles to make all their products even better value for money.
