Back to brunch rituals - Linnaean

We have been dying to check out the new brunch spot in Vauxhall/Nine Elms and now finally that lockdown is over, we made it to Linnaean Living. It’s been all over Instagram because of its health, beauty, and lifestyle concept, but also of course as it is so unique and pretty. Firstly, it combines a beauty salon and a gorgeous restaurant with flowers hanging down from the ceiling. We didn’t do any beauty sessions this time and just enjoyed the amazing bottomless brunch at the restaurant but definitely coming back for a beauty treat soon!

For your bottomless, you can choose to drink Prosecco or Bloody Mary and we decided to stick with Prosecco. For starters, we had a fruit bowl with deliciously creamy coconut yogurt and my friend had matcha pancakes with fruit and syrup. For main we both had Super Brunch - it consists of either eggs or tofu, avocado, tomatoes, cucumbers, mushrooms, temphè bacon (basically veggie bacon), beans, beetroot, and miso tekka. I had it with poached eggs and my friend decided to have scrambled eggs. We both loved the mains as it was filling and tasty yet healthy. For dessert, we had a mini pavlova with matcha spiced vegan ice cream and fruits and sticky coconut pudding, also with vegan vanilla ice cream. We couldn’t believe the ice cream was vegan, it’s made by a company called Moonji who make 100% plant-based ice cream. It was also nice to see so many options that cater to people with different dietary preferences, as a pescetarian it’s always nice to have so much to choose from. I’d definitely recommend visiting Linnaean, whether you want to have a girly brunch and a catch-up, a brunch date, or have a birthday bottomless session, it’s a perfect place for any occasion!
