Beauty dream in the heart of new Battersea
As a Battersea resident, it’s has been really exciting to watching the entire area around the Power Station be developed. Linnaean is located insight of the power station in the heart of the new development - and its a perfect girly oasis amongst the new towering buildings. I went on a Friday afternoon for a much-needed hair cut and blow-dry.
The hairdressers and restaurant make up the downstairs with the spa upstairs. Everything was pristine and I felt good vibes as soon as I entered. My stylist was professional and efficient and used lovely Oribe products which smelt like raspberries to me!
The seats in the hairdressers are a super soft pink leather - I’m obsessed! I ordered a cup of tea from the restaurant during my treatment and the presentation was lovely, in a cute pink cup and a transparent teapot.
My stylist understood what I wanted and gave me a clean trim, followed by a bouncy blow-dry which lasted very well. Now my hair is smooth and fresh with a good shine to it.
I noticed the restaurant had lots of beautiful cakes and treats on displays, so I must go back to try them or perhaps for brunch which also looked yummy!
Overall, I really enjoyed the Linnaean experience. Hairdressers can be quite clinical and predictable environments, so to have this girly and restaurant-style feel, with the restaurant integrated with the hairdressers works well. It felt fresh, professional, and girly without being over the top. I’ll be back!
