Afternoon Treats at Maitre Choux
The hustle and bustle of Soho in current times is at just the right level to enjoy a glass of Laurent Perrier Champagne and enjoy an indulgent selection of Joakim Pratt's finely crafted french patisserie on the carefully cordoned Maitre Choux outdoor-terrace seating area on Dean Street, Soho.
Service is one of the most fundamental elements to a good dining experience. Our host Claudia was excellent, helping us select the right flavours to suit a discerning palette, no doubt you will definitely find something to put a smile on your face here. There are so many delicious flavours to choose from, I would recommend the TAHITIAN VANILLA & PECAN (White), a delicious eclair of caramelized roasted pecan and an intense vanilla creme pat filling. A well balanced signature. The HAZELNUT & MILK CHOCOLATE TREASURE (Gold) is a crowd pleaser for sure, imagine Ferrero Roche had a child with a Kinder Bueno - this is it!! Say no more. If you are a chocolate lover the VERY DARK MULTI-ORIGIN CHOCOLATE (Brown) which is a mix of 60%, 70% and 80% chocolate so not too sweet but an incredibly intense hit of creamy dark chocolate flavours, one for the serious chocolate connoisseur. Lastly the RHUBARB CHEESECAKE (Pink) this one has lemony undertones with an earthy rhubarb finish. A seasonal addition and a new flavour for this month. If you are taking a ramble down the busy streets of Soho looking for a place to perch up and refuel in style - you've found it.
