Bathtimes are back - Willow Organic Rules!
New Forest favourites Willow Organic are back with a gorgeous new range of Wellness Boxes. Natural and cruelty-free from inception; the brand specialise in skincare for sensitive and ageing skins using high-quality organic ingredients which are Soil Association certified. My flatmate was most excited to be given a preview of four fantastic products and we are thrilled to report that male customers will be in for a treat!
Environmental concerns are addressed with elegant recyclable packaging. The ingredient list is transparent and appropriately descriptive so any concerns about provenance or cruelty, are allayed from the start. Their website states that “the ingredients for our entire range have been carefully selected to provide effective, hard working anti-ageing skin care and do not test on animals. We do not use parabens, microbeads, sodium lauryl sulphates, palm oil or any mineral oils in our products.” We set the reviewing mood with the gorgeous Lemongrass and Pepper Scented candle. It illuminated the bathtub beautifully but regretfully did not scent the bathtub as strongly as we would have hoped. The lime-scented bath salts were silky to touch, with an ethereal feel on scattering. They added warmth and zing in addition to a comforting glow of wellness. The luxe-quality Cedarwood and Citrus exfoliating cloth felt appropriately abrasive on the skin; it lathered beautifully and left my flatmate’s skin feeling fresh and cleansed. The final product reviewed was a Vitamin A and Bamboo face and body exfoliator. I tested this out on my hands to great success - my hands felt smooth and refreshed. The notes of lemon and green mandarin were refreshing and made the end of the bathing process an absolute pleasure. The bather was so overjoyed with his experience, he knocked the bathtub plug out in excitement, while washing/exfoliating his legs! His top tip was also that the lather can be left on the shoulders before rinsing, for an amazingly indulgent olfactory experience! Bathtimes are back on the agenda again thanks to Willow Organic.
