Incredible Brunch at The Life Goddess

If you are looking for the best place to dine in London before (and after) we are allowed to dine inside, head over to Kingly Court. It is just off Carnaby street, so a fantastic place to refuel after a hard day of shopping! It is completely covered and sheltered so rain or shine, there are an array of restaurants which you can enjoy comfortably.

The Life Goddess is a cute little Greek restaurant where I had the pleasure of tasting their brunch menu for two. It started off with two gorgeous cocktails which tasted as good as they looked. Then a really rustic vibe wooden board of the first dish came over - it was Greek style eggs with fresh bread and a fresh salad - I had never had anything liked this and enjoyed it SO much! Then the second course came, honestly in love with the attention to detail of this poached eggs dish. I have never seen avocado used like this before - the avocado was the base under the homemade bread type muffins (thin and crispy - such a good texture combination) then the eggs were poached perfectly so they drilled all over the carby bed!! Sparkles were sprinkled all over the plate as well as dried flower petals, it was absolutely gorgeous and makes the customer feel so special. Just after we had finished our two savoury courses, we were offered another two cocktails. I got the ‘Greek Champagne’ which was very interesting, not too bubbly but also something very unique that I had not tried before! It has: limoncello, mint, raspberries, Greek bubbly as well as ’The Greek Negroni’ which has 3grace Gin, Ottos Athens Vermouth,Campari, Orange bitters which looked beautiful but was a bit too strong for my liking! And the third course brought a whole other meaning to the cherry on top. The finesse of every detail is SOMETHING ELSE. Look at that glow, look at those frozen berries, look at the MINIIII banana!! The pancakes themselves were some of the best I have ever tried, they weren’t too thin and boring but they also were not too thick to find them sickly or too much. They were also not too fried and greasy which is a common flaw I find in most brunch places. I am in awe with their pancakes and cannot recommend them enough to absolutely everyone! We met their waiters and waitresses which gave us a very Greek, relaxed service as well as the chef who kindly came to check up on us and how everything is going.
