An unforgettable cocktail and Greek food experience
I arrived at The Life Goddess at Kingly Court with my friend on a wonderful Sunday evening. They were already waiting for us and greeted us with a warm welcome.
As we walked in the atmosphere was absolutely breath-taking. It was cosy and at the same time it had a very fancy feel to it. Definitely a place you can go to have dinner with friends, have a date with a significant other, or just have a girls' night and dress up. We chose a window seat from where we could see the rest of Kingly Court. They have prepared a bottle of water for us with some gin scented hand sanitizer, with the food and cocktail menu on the table. We were a bit lost about what we wanted to eat, so we asked our waiter to help us out. He told us he'd 'vegetarianise' a couple of their dishes so I could also enjoy them, but he would just surprise us with the best dishes. I didn't know what to expect, but the food was absolutely amazing. In the first round we got to try stuffed wide leaves with mint sauce, feta spring rolls served with black pepper honey, hummus with pitta (I've never had hummus that tasted better than the one we got served) and a Greek salad. At this point I thought we would be done, given that we were served four dishes of amazing food and me and my friend were feeling pretty full, but our waiter turned up with two more dishes, that just blew my mind... The charcoal vegan burger and vegetable risotto were absolutely amazing. They tasted incredible and looked wonderful (as you can probably tell from the pictures). We wanted to try some dessert too at the end, as there is always room for some dessert, so we ended up sharing a serving of the chocolate peanut butter mosaic with berries. I would have loved to try the dulce de leche, but unfortunately they have run out of it already at that point. We paired our dinner with two cocktails each that we enjoyed sipping on while having the greatest conversations, amazing food and looking at the beautiful atmosphere of Kingly Court. I would a hundred and ten percent recommend visiting The Life Goddess to anyone, and I cannot wait to go back with some friends next time.
