Refreshing Ice Teas and tastiest eclairs!
On this gorgeous, hot day we visited the cool and refreshing Maitre Choux on King’s Road.
We’ve had a selection of eclairs from their summer range. Raspberry, Passion Fruit and Pistachio, they were colourful and vibrant, nearly too pretty to eat. My favourite was Pistachio, rich and creamy! It had an intense and delightful nutty flavour, complemented by sprinkled ground, candied pistachios for texture. I loved it, definitely a favourite! On top of the bright yellow passion fruit eclair you will find a delicious Italian meringue, topped with dried passion fruits. A delight for the taste buds! The pink Raspberry eclair was very light and tingling my tongue also topped with a yummy Italian meringue. The chouquettes were freshly baked and still warm, I could of eaten a lot more of them. They are a bit addictive! We’ve also tried their summer Ice tea range. How delightful on these weather, enjoyed every sip. I’ve had Libiscus Lychee Iced Tea and my husband had Blue Passion Iced Tea. They were art in a glass and perfect for a hot summer’s day. Both very refreshing but if you are after a sweeter taste I would choose the Lychee Iced Tea. We enjoyed very much our visit at Mitre Choux, didn’t want to leave and face the heat outside! I highly recommend a visit, you will fall in love with the place! Is so pretty inside and serve the tastiest eclairs I’ve had. I would love to return and try their savoury eclairs, they look delicious!
