Luscious Gelato & Cakes from Unico Gelato
Unico Gelato says they are more than just ice cream 🍦 and they are definitely right! Yes, they have some amazing gelato 🍧 showcasing beautiful flavours but they have so much more from cakes to coffee and milkshakes.
I had the pleasure of receiving a tub of gelato and cakes in this beautiful heatwave and well Unico made it well worth it! The gelato arrived on the hottest day of the year so far (31 degrees!!) and it did not arrive melted which is an amazing achievement for them! I had the pleasure of trying: ◼️Pistachio Gelato ⭐️Crema Bologna (Sicilian Lemon & Vanilla) ◼️Bacio (hazelnut with chocolate) ◼️Strawberry Sorbet ◼️Mango Cheesecake ◼️Lemon Meringue ◼️Chocolate Cheesecake Gluten Free ◼️Tenerina Chocolate Brownie GELATO 🍧 Pistachio gelato is beautifully strong in taste, vibrant green & so creamy. Crema Bologna is so great and it was my favourite, so tangy from the Sicilian lemon and paired beautifully with the vanilla. Bacio is a luscious hazelnut gelato with milky chocolate. A must have for any chocolate lover. The last one was a strawberry sorbet which tasted fresh and fruity with a not too icy texture so just perfect. CAKES 🍰 The cheesecake is rich in dark chocolate moist cheesecake with a nutty and a small biscuit base. The chocolate brownie screams COCONUT 🥥, it is delicious 🤤and rich. The mango cheesecake is light and fluffy and the mango 🥭 layer adds a nice tropical and summery touch to the light mascarpone layer. My favourite out of the cakes was the lemon meringue. Perfectly balanced between the meringue, tart shell and lemon curd. It’s the perfect little dessert. Overall, I loved this home delivery from Unico and can’t wait to have some more gelato. I really recommend buying this during the summer they have such a wide selection of flavours and they taste mind blowingly delicious! I would also recommend using Unico to order some cake as a cheat when you need dessert and are hosting guests! They are fabulous.
