Alcotraz - Cocktails Behind Bars!
Do you have what it takes to survive a sentence at Alcotraz Penitentary? Grab a bottle of your favourite spirit and try your luck at smuggling it past the guards! We had an absolute blast serving our sentence at Alcotraz, we didn't want it to end! Rocking our orange jumpsuits, we negotiated our way into Cassidy's prison gang. He the prison’s resident bootlegger, whose mastered the art of sneaking booze past the warden!
We successfully smuggled two bottles of liquor into our cell, where we got to enjoy four thirst quenching cocktails during our sentence. It's a bring your own bottle, so I'd suggest bringing a selection of spirits within your group so you can mix up your cocktails. We enjoyed fruity vodka and gin based cocktails, which were created by the prison’s expert mixologists. We loved them all, the bar will create cocktails to suit any taste with your chosen spirit. All mixers and garnishes are provided! I loved the theatrical aspect of the experience; the actors were brilliant! We were a little hesitant to get involved when we first arrived, but that soon changed when the drinks started flowing. My friend sassed the warden when we were up for parole, it was no surprise our parole was denied! Our sentence was up far too quickly, we could have easily spent all night there. This bar is perfect for a fun night out with friends and would also be a great date choice! I can see why this pop up turned into a permanent venue in Shoreditch, it’s a fab night out which I’d 100% recommend!
