Michelin Star eclairs in London
Have you ever tasted eclairs that taste as good as they look? If you haven't, make sure to stop at Maitre Choux. It is an amazing modern French patisserie. They have 3 cafes in London and 1 in Bicester Village.
Hype experiences arranged a visit to their Kings Road cafe, allowing me to get a taste of these heavenly eclairs. From the moment I opened the door, I was mesmerized by the beautiful decor inside the cafe. The interior is decorated with pink and white flowers making it a perfect spot for Instagram. After being greeted by the friendly waiting staff, I was offered to select eclairs from their limited edition summer menu. I decided to pick all three summer specials which included Passion meringue Eclair Strawberry and Pistachio Eclair Raspberry Eclair And I also ordered the Persian Pistachio eclair. To complement these amazing eclairs I got their limited edition summer iced drinks, which were called the Blue Passion and Hibiscus Lychee. I was also given some complimentary Chouquettes. My personal favourite was the Raspberry eclair which was filled with Willamette raspberry cremeux and topped with a heavenly Italian meringue. Cremeux means creamy in French and oh my it was indeed creamy inside. The choux pastry in all the eclairs and the chouquettes were fresh, light, and fluffy. Strawberry and Pistachio Eclair was topped with fresh strawberries, cream, and pistachios. It was so creamy and fruity and the pistachios gave the perfect crunch to balance it. This is a perfect eclair for the summer. Passion meringue Eclair was filled with passion curd and topped with Italian meringue and dried passion fruit. It was tangy and refreshing. The Persian Pistachio eclair was light and had a nutty texture. It was filled with a Persian pistachio mousseline cream and was sprinkled with candied pistachios. From the limited edition drinks my favourite one was the Hibiscus and Lychee Iced Drink. It was so refreshing and matched perfectly with the eclairs. The best part was they give the Hibiscus juice separately and you have to pour it over the lychee. It was perfect for the gram. Blue Passion iced tea was tasty as well. I am so glad that I got this amazing experience thanks to hype experiences and Maitre Choux.
