Hope you are well! <3 I have recently had a pleasure to try the japanese snacks subscription box from Bokksu. It was a special edition as well, honouring Otsukimi - japanese festivals celebrating the autumn moon. I am a big fan of asian food and snacks, japanese being my favourite, so naturally I was super excited to try it. Bokksu was founded by Danny Taing, who after living in Japan for few years, could not give up on the delicious snacks he has discovered. All the snacks are sourced from Japan, with Danny and his team designing the boxes themselves as well as overseeing the marketing and customer service. Boxes are themed and the theme changes each month, which keeps things interesting! Delivery took around a week, so not too bad at all. It came in a black box, neatly packed, with a guide book describing each snack and a thank you note - lovely, personal touch! What's also amazing is the book not only describes each snack, but you can also find common allergens and if the snack is vegetarian or not. It is very obvious there has been a lot of thought put into the presentation, not only of the main box, but also the packaging for each item - it's super colourful and fun to look at. You get a range of snacks in Bokksu box- more than 20 items, mix of sweet and savoury. In this box you can find unique things - my favourite being a white strawberry, which is a real strawberry fruit infused with white chocolate - definitely haven't come across anything like this before and it was absolutely delicious. Apart from unique and quirky things, the box is full of japanese classics such as mochi, green tea, rice crackers or matcha cake. Price wise, I personally think the price and subscription options are amazing and you get a lot for your money. If you are a fan of asian food and snacks, this is definitely for you and do not hesitate to check this box out! I can't wait to order my next one and get positively surprised again!
