I have had my eye on Crosstown donuts for a while now, so I was really excited when I finally had the pleasure of trying them. And oh my word, they are amazing!!!
The flavours are so good and generous. You can smell the flavours even before you eat them. That’s how good they are! The donuts are made from Crosstown’s signature sourdough dough, which makes the thick but also airy, if that makes sense! We tried the new Autumn 🍂 seasonal flavours: 🍩Vietnamese coffee - oozing with Vietnamese coffee and condensed milk custard in the centre, topped with a coffee glaze and a salted cashew nut crumble on top. I wasn’t sure if this flavour would work in a donut, but let me assure you, it certainly does!! 👌🏼 🍩 Chocolate & honeycomb (vegan) - I understand that this flavour has been re-released and I can totally see why! It’s so indulgent! Their vegan black cocoa dough envelops a rich dark chocolate custard, with a sprinkling of golden honeycomb nuggets on top. Donuts really don’t get any better than this. Absolutely delicious! 🍩 Tongan vanilla bean glaze (vegan) - this is your traditional glazed ring doubly. A classic sourdough donut glazed in a sweet vanilla bean glaze, perfect with a hot drink! These are easily the best vegan donuts I’ve had and the most flavoursome. We had these donuts delivered. They were perfectly packaged and delivered. Not a single dent on them! Great delivery! Really easy to see why these are award-winning donuts. Perfect indulgent treat and especially comforting during this season! Will definitely be checking out their new flavours.
