Crazy for Cajuu

Cajuu translates into cashews. Especially since my parents and grandparents were born and raised in Tanzania, reviewing this product package was a no-brainer. I had never thought that cashews needed a dipping sauce, but after tasting these, I am never having cashews without their dip again!

I received the following flavours: - Mango Moa These cashews were packed with the flavour of mangoes from the small town of Moa in Tanzania, and boy was they flavourful. Especially when paired with their amazing chilli dip, it really intensified the flavour. I would’ve never imagined that mango and cashews would pair together this well – but I am pleasantly surprised with how nicely the two flavours went together. - Vanilla and Salted Caramel I have always had a bit of a sweet tooth, so for me, the vanilla and salted caramel cashews were definitely my favourite. They had the perfect level of sweetness without being too overbearing! Let’s just say this one got devoured way too quickly. - Lake Natron Salt and Pepper You can never go wrong with salt and pepper as a flavour – it really is timeless. And that’s exactly how I felt about these cashews. Using salt crystals from Lake Natron in Northern Tanzania and crushed black pepper, really provided such a delicate, yet strong flavour. I loved the herb dip – it elevated the taste without being overbearing. Unfortunately, I wasn’t as much of a fan of the date bites – as much as I wanted to like them, the cashews were definitely the star of the show. After all, there’s a reason why this business is called Cajuu.
