The box had the coolest mix of sweet and savoury snacks all from Japan and because all the ingredients are written in Japanese, they provide a leaflet clearly stating what contains alcohol and whether it's suitable for vegetarians. A beautiful addition that is clear and concise.

You are not able to choose a vegetarian or Halal-friendly box. I think that would be a great option, it comes as a mixture however you can order the snacks separately directly from their website if it's something you enjoyed. Of all the items included in this month's box, only 3 items were not suitable for my Halal diet as they contained alcohol so they were something I didn't try. They looked very tempting though. I wish I could have had alternatives. They don't list each ingredient separately, just general allergen information so I had to Google a few of them. The items are marked as not suitable for vegetarians. It does not say *why* or *what* ingredient makes it unsuitable. I thoroughly enjoyed pretty much everything that I tried especially the sesame seed cake and the little mochis. Everything was packaged in lovely colourful packets making everything look appealing. Even my three-year-old son enjoyed most of the items. He was very excited to try items that were exotic and different. I'd definitely purchase these boxes again as it contained a wonderful selection and items I wouldn't necessarily buy myself if I was to come across them.
