Cold days call for crumble!

Brrrr... the temperature has certainly dropped and what better way to warm up on a cold day than with some hot, fruity, crumble goodness.

I had the pleasure of visiting Humble Crumble, the world's first crumble bar with two London locations - Old Spitalfields market and Borough market. This unique food offering celebrates one of the nation's favourite puddings, the crumble. The founders of Humble Crumble started their venture to make the dessert readily available to eat, so people can enjoy small pots out on the go. It's definitely one of my Winter warmer favourites and I was super excited to tuck in. Choosing your desired crumble is easy as pie. 1. Just pick your preferred fruit - classic apple or mixed berry 2. Add shortbread crumble (vegan option available) 3. Select an extra topping of either steaming vanilla custard, whipped cream, frozen custard, or toasted marshmallow. Of course, I wanted to get a taste of everything; apple, berry, and the seasonal special salted caramel and pecan. Each oozed with warm, sweet fruit, creamy custard nestled under a blanket of buttery, crunchy crumble. The classic apple takes the win for me, not too sweet but just the right amount of indulgence needed. If you haven't been to Humble Crumble, there's no doubt you'll have seen them pop up on your Instagram. Their crumbles are known for being desirably 'grammable' with their bubblegum pink pots and decorative toppings. They're especially known for their annual spiced pumpkin, apple crumble (served in an actual pumpkin!), and their festive special with marshmallow Christmas tree peaks. Humble Crumble serves all year round so if you're craving some pud, hit these guys up!
