I’d visit the hotel again and again even though I’m local.

This weekend, my husband and I, stayed at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in the middle of downtown Los Angeles for my husband's birthday celebration.

Though we live 25min from DTLA, I've always wanted to stay here. The stunning classic architecture is something reminiscent of New York in the 1930’s and I’ve always wanted to see and experience it up close. The lobby and halls are all decked out with Christmas decorations throughout, and the hotel really made the holiday season come alive. The large one-bedroom suite we stayed in was well-appointed, and we had a great time exploring the space just looking at all the art and amenities. We had beautiful views of the city and skyline, even from the 3rd floor. The interior was lovely, with classic Victorian accents everywhere, and antique style furniture that was stunning but not dated. The hotel is in a good location and a short walk from several top restaurants, many on the same block. A quick Uber or Lyft, and you’re at the Staples Center and LA Live or basically anywhere in DTLA. Unfortunately, during Covid, the afternoon tea experience was not available, but even without that, their professional staff and crew, more than made up for what the pandemic has taken away. Everyone was very helpful and friendly, and they took care of us like VIPs. It makes us want to return and experience what we missed at the Millennium Biltmore again soon. The following morning, the breakfast at Rendezvous Court, was really good and the coffee was excellent. My husband was blown away by the experience and we both kept saying how wonderful a time we were having! The perfect staycation!
