Bokksu Bringing Japan to London in the form of Snacks
Bokksu is definitely bringing Japan to my little flat in London in the form of this amazing treasure box of authentic Japanese snacks!
I'm quite fussy when it comes to snacks so I was incredibly surprised that I actually thoroughly enjoyed EVERYTHING in this box. What's in the box?? - Yubari Melon Chocolate biscuits - White Peach Kibi Gango Mochi - Fujiya Milky Mochi - Konami and Black Sesame Candy - Hokkaido Yoichi Apple Gummy - Funwari Meijin Mochi Puffs - Yaki-Imo Sweet Potato Cookie - Toukibi Corn Chocolate - Mike Butter Soy Sauce Popcorn - Jaga Choco White Chocolate Potato Chips Although I liked everything in this box, the highlights for me were definitely the melon chocolate biscuits and sweet potato cookies as I have never tried anything like these ever with these taste combinations and they were delicious! Some other favourites were corn chocolate, white chocolate potato chips, and butter soy sauce popcorn. I really felt like I was exploring a new culture just by working my way through each individual snack in this box. One thing, in particular, I like about this box of Japanese snacks, besides the variety and number of different things to try, is that you get a great quality little booklet with the snacks, describing each one in more detail with photos so you know you are looking at the right one and a bit more information about its origin and which area in Japan the snack tends to be from. I actually shared this box with my dad who loves anything a bit different and we spent a good hour and more reading about each item and taste-testing and giving our opinions which were great fun! The packaging quality is also fantastic with this box from the packaging of the actual snacks to the overall box, leaflet, and thank you note which was really nice. I absolutely love this box and would recommend it for yourself, as a gift or to do your own taste-testing night. Fantastic, good quality, great value product!!
