Home cocktail making experience
My first impression, as I looked at and opened the box that arrived in the post, was classy and elegant. A lovely quality box that opens to reveal premium quality cocktail ingredients and a lovely method card.
I opted for the citrus burst cocktail kit. It included 3 x 5cl bottles of premium gin, a liqueur, and garnish. The only ingredients I needed to supply myself were a small amount of lemon juice and soda. The method was simple to follow but this certainly didn't compromise the end result. All I needed was wine glasses and some ice in order to prepare the delicious drink. A beautiful balance of sweet and sharp. It looked good and tasted even better. I didn't need a cocktail shaker either which was ideal! There are enough ingredients to make 4 cocktails. Usually, my husband and I like totally different drinks, but we both really enjoyed the citrus burst. What's more, you can personalise the cocktail to suit your taste! This time I opted for the citrus burrs, next time and there will be a next time for sure, there are many other delicious-sounding cocktails to choose from. Maybe the daquiri.... Or maybe a whisky-based cocktail.... Such a difficult decision when each boasts uniqueness. I believe that a cocktail experience like this would be perfect to gift a cocktail lover. How can you go wrong with a gift that oozes such class and premium quality and at a great value? But equally, it's a perfect gift for yourself, or even for a weekend treat.
