Barrio Bars have brought another amazing event out – the Notorious B.I.N.G.O brunch. A mix of food, drinks, music, and entertainment makes this one of the best brunches out there!

We were greeted by a very friendly staff member, who showed us to our table. There was music playing and the drinks came fairly quickly. They were very nice to swap my drinks for non-alcoholic unlimited mocktails, which doesn’t always happen, so I was very impressed! The whole team had very fun shirts on and a great attitude. Super friendly, helpful, and fun! We had pre-ordered our food, so there wasn’t much of a menu to look at on the day, but we soon remembered what we had ordered, as we got it delivered to our table. We got the Biggie’s Beef Burger (grilled beef patty, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, gherkin, jalapeno mayo in a soft potato bun with fries) and the Big Poppa’s Chicken Burger (fried chicken thigh, lettuce, tomato, tabasco honey in a soft potato bun with fries). They give you quite some time to get going with the drinks and the food, before starting with the actual bingo which is great. The Barrio surroundings are great! Lots of colorful, Latin-inspired décor make it a great place for pictures and also good vibes overall. We were surrounded by a mix of people, young and not so young, couples, groups of friends celebrating birthdays, another group on a stag, etc. This is a great place for all and the music was on point! We also got some churros and a chocolate dip in between the bingo! As the title says, the Notorious B.I.N.G.O brunch is a homage to the great Biggie Smalls, best known as The Notorious B.I.G., an American rapper, and songwriter considered one of the greatest rappers of all time. They played many of his songs and also a good range of rap, hip hop, and RnB, which I absolutely loved! The bingo itself had 4 rounds and the winner of each of the first 3 rounds got a round of shots for their group and the ultimate winner got a bottle! Now, I have to tell you how impressed I was that my husband was one of the ultimate winners! There were 2 of them and like the gentleman that he is, he let the other table get the bottle and we got a few free extra drinks (I think it may have been because he didn’t want to have a dance-off, but who knows?!) The bingo host was an absolute legend! He was very friendly, funny and full of energy! The whole team was great and I have to give shoutouts to the 2 ladies serving our table on that day – Gleidy and Sally. Thank you for looking after us! And at the end, we got to stay and enjoy the DJ and the dancefloor – Thank you Barrio Bars for having us and making this a great start to our Saturday! I suggest you all to checking barrio bars on social media and giving them a follow and of course, book your brunch asap! They have lots of themes and lots of venues, so I am sure there is one that suits you!
