Who doesn’t love a boozy brunch? Barrio bars have changed the bottomless game with their amazing musical Bingo-based brunch which is perfect for music lovers, bingo fans, and anyone looking for a brunch with a difference.
We visited Barrio Soho for their La Isla Bonito brunch which features a fast-past game of bingo-based around snippets of the best tunes from the 80s for all to sing along to. Barrio is always a fantastic venue, with gorgeous decor and seriously fun vibes. The brunch staff were so welcoming and kept the drinks flowing, which is always essential for a bottomless brunch. Drinks on offer include Prosecco, mimosas, beer, and rum cocktails and you can switch between them if you fancy something different. Our host for the event was Mercury, a glamorous and hilarious drag queen with a sharp wit and even sharper style, who kept us all laughing and singing from start to finish. Burgers are the order of the day, (veggies and vegans are well catered for) with churros and chocolate sauce for dessert making a nice finishing touch. The party atmosphere was evident from the moment we stepped through the door and this was genuinely one of the friendliest brunches I’ve been to. Prizes for the Bingo winners included signature Barrio sharing cocktails with impressive indoor fireworks and the obligatory shots, making for some friendly competition; even though we didn’t win we felt like winners because this was such a fab experience, and once I’d definitely do again.
