Blown Away!!

I am amazed by how AMAZING this take on Cuban food was prepared. It tasted so real, so genuine, and so delicious! I grew up in Miami, so I know what Cuban food tastes like, and this was the real deal.

Even better is that you don’t finish off with the “itis” (aka you don’t get too dizzy after eating it because it’s not as fatty and heavy), which is a bonus. I love Cuban food, but I also have to be careful how often I eat it because the flavors come from fatty sources, but I know I can be a little more lenient on myself with Vegan Cuban food. As you can see in the pictures, the food is plated very nicely, and you can tell that the dishes were juicy and flavorful. We tried the “cheese” Pastelito, the Papa Rellena, the Cuban sandwich, and picadillo and every single one of those dishes came to impress. Sometimes vegan food has a different flavor, and you can tell that it is vegan, but if you put these side-by-side with the meat dishes, you probably still could mean the difference but let me tell you, you’ll probably choose the vegan option. Incredibly well-done recipes, and it also doesn’t break the bank. Portion sizes were also acceptable as I even had to take my food home because I couldn’t finish. The restaurant is a Ventana, but there are a couple of tables to sit and dine at. The service was also lovely, speedy, and hospitable. The owners themselves served us!
