Deer oh dear! The must try for a meat lovers!
To start this, I have been honest and straightforward with you. I am a big fan of meat, and it is an essential part of my diet. Henceforth, it was a great pleasure for me to try the Deer Box.
I will focus my review on four categories: Delivery, Packaging, The products, and an overall conclusion. The delivery was speedy and effortless. It arrived on the expected day and within a reasonable time. The packaging was just the right size. It was well insulated and had plenty of ice to keep the meat frozen. Additionally, it comes with a small recipe booklet and a booklet that details the origin and ethos of the company. When it comes to the individual packaging of the meat, it is outstanding! My box had seven different cuts and around a total of 4kg. Each package weighs around 500g and is vacuum-sealed. You can store it in the freezer for up to 12 months. Finally, the most crucial part is the product. I can sum it up in one word "AMAZING!". The meat is tender, easy to cook with, and extremely healthy. In general, venison is lean, low on calories, and high on protein. The wild meat taste is miles better than what you get with farmed meat from the shop. Overall, the meat was great, the portion sizes were more than enough for two meals (three if you stretch it), and the variety of cuts would keep you engaged for weeks! So, it is a worthwhile experience to try a new type of meat and broaden your cooking horizon.
