A Day at Normandie Hotel
The Normandie Hotel in Los Angelos, CA is a stylish boutique hotel located in Koreatown, a lovely area with many good Asian/Korean food, desserts, and drinks. Normandie was built in 1926 with 92 bedrooms and suites with a contemporary/modern style inside the hotel.
My boyfriend and I are content creators, and we love to travel to La and go to Koreatown and eat a lot of good foods and take a lot of pictures. The place we like to go to go is boba bear. We checked in around 4 pm, and JR was able to meet up with Alvin and me and get us settled in. We put our bags/suitcases in our room and then headed down to Cassel’s Hamburgers, right inside the hotel. We had a standard room with two beds and a nice seating area with a mirror to do your makeup, make coffee, and even use your laptop. The room is small, but it is perfect for two people. I love how soft the mattress and pillows were. Normandie also offers wine reception between 05:00 pm to 07:00 pm in the main lobby area, which has comfy seating with coffee tables. Cassel’s is a friendly neighborhood restaurant with fresh ground beef burgers, shakes, and drinks. Alvin and I ordered: two bacon cheeseburgers (1/3 & 1/4 burger patties), fries, pies, cocktails, and coffee. The cocktails we ordered were; a Moscow mule, two old fashions, and a margarita. We’ve tried the pies: the delicious dulce de leche banana cream pie, peanut butter chocolate pie, and a lemon icebox pie. We should’ve taken a banana cream pie and a lemon box pie to go. They were so good! I can still taste the banana cream pie on my tongue. The hamburger was super good. You can taste the freshness in every bite! While I was eating my burger, I was telling Alvin how you can taste the freshness of the meat like “ its taste just like a burger from home,” and when I looked up, I saw a poster saying that Cassel’s burgers are made fresh at the restaurant. JR came by to check in with us and told us how mostly everything is made fresh at the restaurant, even the pies. I grew up eating burgers, from dinners at home to birthday parties and bbq. I have eaten cheeseburgers most of my life, so I know when I taste a REAL and GOOD burger. Cassel burgers hit home, and I want to thank the chef for the delicious food and the store manager for excellent service and great energy! I will stop by again for a chat and good eats. Thank you, Normandie, for the beautiful experience and tasty food. Alvin and I enjoyed our stay. We had to leave early for our flight, so we could not try out the breakfast, but we appreciated everything.
