A Perfect Afternoon at Bistro Maxine: A Creperie Cafe
I had the most delightful, and pleasant time visiting Bistro Maxine, one of the many exceptional restaurants in Palo Alto. Aside from the top tier interior and mouthwatering menu, the staff made the time worth the visit. Sal was generous, personable, kind, and very accommodating and recommended the best food and drink options to try.
From the moment we entered, the ambience of the restaurant gave so much of a comfy and home-like feel. It wasn't too busy nor crowded, the aroma of fresh crepes cooking on the stove, the vintage interior, and the warm, friendly welcome from the staff was enough for me to want to go back with my loved ones without hesitation. Bistro Maxine also carefully observed COVID-19 regulations and practiced contactless menu viewing and checkout. Indoor and outdoor dining were also available. By doing this, it shows how cleanliness and respectability are prioritized. Though in the midst of plenty respectable restaurants, Bistro Maxine is definitely not a miss when it comes to their menu options. As a Pescatarian (a vegetarian with the exception of seafood), it relieves me to see that there were many food choices to choose from. I appreciate the inclusivity that the menu brings because restaurants tend to forget people who have diet restrictions. Overall, there is no doubt in my mind that Bistro Maxine is for the people. Wait times are quick and efficient, service is top notch, and people are truly kind in this area. Thank you Bistro Maxine for a wonderful visit!
