I don't know what I'll dough without Crosstown Doughnuts!

Donut judge me, ok? London's climate is back to what we are all used to, aka rain and gloom. So what better way to cheer the mood than with playfulness and some delectable sweet treats? This was my second visit to Crosstown; I'm a big fan. Not only do they have multiple locations around the city. Hence, you get to explore a different vibe at different places, but they also have an extensive menu- doughnuts, ice cream, chocolates etc., in numerous flavours and various diet options. So if you got the calories (and money) to spare, Crosstown would be the place you want to spend it on! During my first visit, I had the ice cream set at the Victoria location outdoors. While during this visit, I got the Vegan doughnut set and colourful, warm lattes indoors at their Battersea Power Station location. So clearly, every time and anytime is a good time for Crosstown! The doughnut flavours include Tongan Vanilla Bean Glaze, Cinnamon Scroll, Peanut Butter & Blackcurrent Compote, Dark Chocolate Truffle, Pumpkin Custard and Ginger & Pear. Out of all the flavours, the Dark Chocolate Truffle was surprisingly my favourite. At first glance, it looked like a regular doughnut with chocolate glaze; but once you bite into it, you'll be greeted by......I'll leave that up for you to guess (or get one to try yourself!) Usually, I would say anything with peanut butter would be my favourite. However, in this case, the peanut butter-flavoured one got sadly pushed down its rankings- just because eating it was difficult without causing much of a mess. It still tasted great, though! So if you're on your first date at Crosstown, probably not a good idea to get that (unless perhaps you want to test whether the other person would still stay after witnessing you at your worst, lol). Again, another satisfying visit to Crosstown. Next time, I might consider trying their non-vegan doughnuts and chocolate collection. Alright, it's time to look up another one of their locations I would like to visit next!
