Fun Night Out!
Located conveniently in Brickell, right off the metro station, you can feel Barsecco's pulses from down the street. If you're looking a sexy date night dinner, or just somewhere to look cute and grab some drinks, this is the spot for you. It was a lively atmosphere with bubbles and a live DJ.
We started off the night with some drinks: lychee martini and caipirinha. They were so dangerous because they were tasty but had a good pour of alcohol in them. For appetizers, we got calamari and truffle fries. If you just want something to snack on, I highly recommend the truffle fries because they were coated in cheese, and who doesn't like a good truffle fry? For our food, we got pepperoni pizza, sea bass, and wagyu tacos. The pepperoni pizza reminded me of tortilla pizzas since it was sough, cheese, and pepperoni, but I loved the thin crust. The sea bass had soy-based marination and was flaky. Next time, I'll probably order a carb to pair with it. My favorite dish of the night though was the wagyu tacos. The sauce, flavors, and textures paired incredibly well together. The taco shell was a deep-fried wonton-like texture and flavor and it was topped with an aioli type of sauce. Overall, it was a fun night in Brickell. Since I came on a Sunday, there were more spots open and most people were chatting or on dates as opposed to singing and dancing. I can definitely see myself coming back on a Friday or Saturday to start my night!
