Great new year's eve dinner!
Went to The Broadcaster at White City for New Year's Eve and it was a great night! Food was good and the whole environment was nice. My favourite would have to be the lamb rump that day!
lamb rump the lamb was perfectly cooked; it was flavourful and tender and I really enjoyed the spring onion mash. we shared both mains and I liked this better than the halibut. lobster & crab salad, toasted brioche the lobster and crab were fresh and it went well w the avocado - overall a really refreshing starter! the toasted brioche was crispy and buttery, perfectly complementing the lobster and crab salad. crispy squid this was super crispy and well seasoned; the squid had a great texture as well - slightly chewy but not too tough! the sweet and sour sauce on the side went well with the squid too. halibut the halibut was unfortunately slightly overcooked, but the clam and dill chowder was creamy and hearty. truffle & parmesan fries crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, these fries were a great side dish to order! decent amount of truffle and parmesan flavour as well. also got a cocktail and a mocktail - quite liked the gin cocktail they had that day! went there on new year's eve and they also had a rooftop party that day - they have a DJ and it was pretty busy up there so if you're someone who loves a bustling new year's eve party, the rooftop is definitely for you! If you prefer having a more quiet evening to yourselves, you can stay in the dinner place downstairs, which is what we did most of the evening! taste: 7.5/10 value: 7/10 📍the broadcaster, white city
