Did you hear about this year’s Burning Man “effigy”? They’re building an epic 220’ wide pyramid that resembles Black Rock Point called Catacomb of Veils, which will be one of the largest sculptures ever burnt at the event! The Catacomb project, which raised over $68k on Indiegogo, is a largely volunteer-built structure that will allow people to climb on and go down inside, where they’ll find ancient relics, effigies and offerings on their way to the inner Sanctum of Veils—a confluence of concealment, revelation and sublime beauty.
