last day: Art Show by Kukula

All the way from a relatively isolated village north of Tel Aviv, Kukula grew up surrounded by retirees—her childhood imagination was nourished by princess fantasies and WWII holocaust stories, so it’s no wonder she turned out the way she did! Check out her paintings on display at the 111 Minna Gallery this month, they feature depictions of bright doll-like figures set in grand palaces, often with clear, or obscure, symbolic meaning. Exhibition is open until the 30th of September.
