Wet your whistle at moonshine saloon!
The Moonshine Saloon is a great indoor immersive drinking experience. Located at 28-30 Houndsditch, London EC3A 7DB. The closest tube stations are Liverpool Street and Aldgate East. Guests are all given a Stetson hat and shirt to wear at the start by the tailor and then smuggled inside to the saloon which is owned the the tailor's sister.
The drinks were all amazing thanks to the bar people. Guests are required to bring a spirit along (35cl between two people), we were served four different drinks using the spirit that we’d bought (white rum). There was a bit of rum leftover which were were given back to take home.
Throughout the night we were entertained with Western drama and games. There is a small surprise that is very potent. All the actors stayed in character for the entire performance. The dramatic ending between the saloon owner and the sheriff was the best (there were shots fired).
The event is extremely ideal for a Friday night social as it's very easy to get swept up in the fun. Overall, an interesting event which would be made even better by serving another drink considering the price.
