I opened up my delivery to see the box filled with multicoloured boxes of popcorn! With cute little ‘windows’ at the front of their boxes, the packaging is certainly eye catching!

Originally working from their shed in 2016, Popcorn Shed is a family business, who favour quality produce and artisan processes to create super tasty gourmet popcorn. The range of flavours on offer is impressive, with many praised and some holding taste awards. I was sent a mixture of sweet and savoury flavours. When initially looking at the popcorn through the windows, I noticed large chunks of pecan and (Pecan Pie flavour) and Peanuts (Peanut Butter flavour). It is so impressive to see whole ingredients in a a product like this and not just a coating! I couldn’t wait to try the flavours! The sweet flavours were so good and what I particularly liked was that they didn’t just taste of that generic nondescript sugary flavour. My favourite was the Butterscotch. The taste was not synthetic at all and the coating gave you that sense of buttery creaminess you’d expect from butterscotch! I could not fault a single one of the sweet flavours. The Bakewell tastes of Bakewell, any with chocolate actually had chocolate coated round them, the cookies and cream has a white chocolate coating and crumb around them. Every aspect of each flavour has been thought about! Each piece of Christmas Pudding flavour popcorn tasted like Christmas! Now for the savoury flavours. These are done so so well - No artificial colours or powdery texture! Cheesy popcorn sounds strange, but as that saying goes - “Don't knock it until you’ve tried it!” Think of them as the perfect drink accompaniment/bar snack or just simply as an alternative to crisps. You can tell the team behind Popcorn Shed are perfectionists. Everything has been well thought out and taken into account. Instead of just striving for a flavour tasting LIKE something, they have considered appearance, texture and natural ingredients. I am so impressed by the quality of flavours and ingredients. The ingredients list is how snacks like this should be. Ultimately Popcorn Shed are proof that high quality ingredients, care in the process and a drive for perfection and innovation can be seen in the end product.
