Beyond-thoughts Popcorn Flavors!
Amid the Euro 2020 euphoria? Or even if you’re not that much into football like me, I guess Netflix-and-chill nights are surely your pleasure (who doesn’t??!?). Regardless of which boat you belong to, I bet having something to munch along the show is a necessity, and thanks to Popcorn Shed who has come to rescue.
Being a first-timer for it, I was astonished by the extremely rich selections of flavors it carried out. Not only simple sweet and savory ones with standard mainstream ones you might met, but they did take it seriously, going beyond the choices you would have thought. Call me lucky, I got the chance to try a big chunk of the family with the sampler pack that offered most of the flavors. Starting from the cheese-based ones, I was used to have cheddar popcorn but this time, Popcorn Shed even offered Blue Cheese, Goats Cheese, and its iconic Sweet Cheesus which was my favorite from this group! It did help if you’re as indecisive as me who simply couldn’t make my mind if I should go for savory or sweet one, as it combined cheddar cheese and buttery caramel popcorn. The nut-based family was another interesting one. Several options were available here, including Pecan Pie, Butterly Nuts, and Peanut Butter. Yes you heard me right, Peanut Butter! For its big fan like me (sorry for those who might be allergic to it!), I was beyond the moon as my two comfort snacks could come as a pair! Being a sweet tooth, I was thrilled looking at their outrageous sweet selections, some of which I guessed not available elsewhere. Rainbow Popcorn, Cherry Bakewell, and Berrylicious were probably the trio you might want to ‘give a shoot’, just because they’re so uncommon to come as popcorn flavors. Salted Caramel and Butterscotch might be those more frequently seen, but still irreplaceable for me. They just wouldn’t let you to not keep coming back for more. If you’re into chocolate, you could marry your popcorn with this sweet buddy by having Cookies and Cream or Pop & Choc. Then saving the best for the last, I would call out Birthday Cake, which honestly speaking I was a bit skeptical about in the beginning but surprisingly ended up being my new top choice! It had all the beauty of buttery flavor, hint of caramel and vanilla, delicate white chocolate, and the spoiling crispy texture of birthday sprinkles. The name did flawlessly represent what you got, as it felt like literally eating a slice of vanilla birthday cake in the form of popcorn. All in all, I know I might not help you much in making your choice of flavor, but I guessed that could help you justify your intention to just go for all!
